TASK 1: Complete the 1000 Steps (Dandenong Ranges)
The Commando's were the first to reach the top. However, they drove to the top therefore were disqualified from task #1.

The Bravehearts were the first team to reach and run the 1000 steps.
The Hawaaiins were the second team to complete the steps. The views along the trail were quite amazing! Nature is a true beauty! Yobbo...
The Basketballers were the final team to reach the 1000 steps. However they completed the task, giving them more points than the Commandos.
Task #2 was to run around Queen Victoria Market and find this jumper hanging in one of the stores. Once the jumper was found, the group had to sing the Bundoora theme song to the owner to receive their next clue.
The Hawaaiins were the second group to arrive, and found the jumper just several moments after the Bravehearts.
As a bonus task, the teams had to complete the "Good Citizen Award". Each group had to complete a task that was of benefit to the community. Here we see the Commandos making a donation.
What a citizen. No smashes. No roadworks. No trams or faulty traffic lights, yet Cam Cloke and the Basketballers believed that traffic around the botanical gardens needed traffic control!
This task involved all the teams travelling to Melbourne Central. Here the teams had to solve 5 riddles. The answer to these 5 riddles, were the names of 5 stores which were located on the 5 levels of the shopping centre. Here are the 5 stores!
At this point, 'Nipper' from the Bravehearts, who were the leading team at the time, decided it would be a good time to buy a pair of jeans. This saw team Hawaaii take over the lead. The Hawaaiins also stole the Basketballers clue at the last task, meaning the Basketballers didn't know to travel to Melbourne Central, therefore the Basketballers were forced to skip this task,

The Bravehearts, even through the shopping remained in second place at this stage.
The Commandos currently in first place based on time, however after not completing the task, places them in third position.

After this task. The race read as The Hawaaiins first, Bravehearts second, Commandos third and the Basketballers in last position.
The next task was a DETOUR. Option A was to travel to the Tan and complete 200 pushups each. However person #2 cannot begin his 200 pushups until person #1 has completed his. Alternatively, the groups can travel to Flinders Street Station, where they can busk for 30 minutes. This awarded more points, but was quite embarassing!
The Basketballers were the first group to reach this task, and chose to do the pushups. However, they did not complete this task correctly, and therefore awarded no points. Love the beers though!
Here the Hawaaiins have chosen to do the musical task and decided to break dance at Flinders!

The Bravehearts took the challenge one step further, standing on the steps of Flinders before a crowd, and sang Eiffel 65's "Blue".
The Hawaains, dominating the race at this stage, also won the points and prize for the best sand castle, the next task.
The Basketballers were the first to reach the beach. Double points for Santa's use of "Zoo".

The Bravehearts, leading second by points and last by time, came up with this creation at Port Melbourne, before heading up the pier and jumping off for a quick dip on the 28 degree day.
The Race was a huge success and the club & players have already made this an annual event. Next year it will be bigger and better!
The Winners & Losers for the day by the way were as follows:
The Hawaaiins - 2550 points
The Bravehearts - 2250 points
The Commandos - 1850 points
The Basketballers - 1650 points
