QuickBooks requires internet explorer settings to establish a connection with the network. The JavaScript or VBScript helps QuickBooks to connect to the Internet. If there is any QuickBooks script error, there is a problem with internet explorer settings that can be resolved by reconfiguring IE. Here are some of the best fixes to resolve the script error in QuickBooks.
Step 1. The first step is to add Intuit as a trusted website in internet explorer. You will need to launch the IE and click the Security tab in the settings menu. Now click trusted sites and add Intuit.com. Now get back to the trusted side window and uncheck the server verification option. Further, go to the advanced tab and uncheck enable enhanced protected mode. Now close the Internet Explorer window and try to relaunch QuickBooks.
Step 2. The next step is to clear the internet explorer cache files or browser data. Open Internet Explorer, go to the browser history.
Now select history, cookies, and temporary Internet files and click delete. Finally, click apply and click ok.
1. Close down the window of the QuickBooks application.
2. Open Internet Explorer and click the Gear icon at the top right corner of the Internet Explorer.
3. Select Tools and choose Internet Options.
4. Now unmark the Display a Notification About Every Script Error checkbox under the Advanced tab.
5. Hit OK and restart QuickBooks.
